Iris Johner, Master in Management 2016 student, tells us about her experience with this firm.
How did you find out about this job opportunity?
I heard of the opportunity thanks to an email from the CMC.
How did the CMC and your IE experience help you during the recruiting process?
The CMC proved helpful and more particularly Natalia Milani, as she was kind enough to meet with me to help me prepare my Assessment center. The IE experience in itself did not really prepare me, apart from the fact that classes train people to be confortable when speaking in public. Moreover, they taught me to be efficient when working in group and discussing cases, which was useful during the assessment center.
How was the recruiting process: stages, tests, interviews, etc?
- 1st stage: CV and cover letter screening.
- 2nd stage: video about your motivation (“why Kraft Heinz and why you?”).
- 3rd stage: online quantitative and verbal tests.
- 4th stage: Skype competence-based interview.
- 5th stage: Assessment Center (individual interviews, group case study and panel).
Would you want to share any tips, advice with current student interested in applying to this company?
My main advice would be not only to be familiar with the firm’s culture (ownership, meritocracy etc.) but also to share these values for real. Indeed, pretending to share these values might be possible during the first stages of the recruiting process but I will be a lot harder, if not impossible, during the Assessment Center when you are put under pressure.
