“Lagos is a vibrant ecosystem of established Nigerian organizations, multinationals, and start-ups; and IE is committed to fostering new and deepening existing relationships within the country,” said Amber Wigmore, IE Executive Director of Career Services at the launch event last week in her speech at the launch of the new IE Lagos Office, that she attended. “I personally look forward to working with companies in Nigeria to create new employment opportunities for IE graduates.”
Amber also had the chance to meet with alumni living in Nigeria and South Africa and talk about the tools and services the Career Management Center is offering to alumni worldwide.

From December 8th to 17th, Amber Wigmore Álvarez, Executive Director of Career Services, participated in company visits to Tokyo, along with Joël McConnell, Regional Director for Asia-Pacific; and Seoul and Shanghai, with William Dávila, International Development Director, in addition to our IE representatives in their respective cities.
Visits to companies and organizations with the objective of showcasing IE talent to potential and current employers included: Chiyoda Corporation, Orrick Tokyo, Wahl & Case, Rakuten, SOS International Japan and Korea, Microsoft Japan, Nissan, Amazon Japan, UN University, Teach for Korea and SK Planet. Amber also led sessions on the Value of an MBA and Career Evolution, as well as Alumni Career Updates and networking dinners for alumni in the different cities.
