How did you find out about this job opportunity?
I had the great opportunity to find out about the job and to apply on the Career Portal. I then talked with Luxury Career Advisor Mariola Díez about this position, who kindly helped me during the whole recruitment process.
How did the CMC and your IE experience help you during the recruiting process?
Of course all the new skills and knowledge I learned during my master’s degree helped me a lot, but if I hadn’t registered my CV in the Career Portal with all the improvements that my Career Advisors at IE gave me, I wouldn’t have achieved it. I used everything that IE provided: resources, advice and sessions that IE organized for helping students and alumni to achieve our desired job. I even asked a very great friend of mine for advice, an EMBA fellow classmate and alum.
How was the recruiting process: stages, tests, interviews, etc.?
The recruiting process lasted around one month and a half because during this period I had to make some interviews and tests, not only with the hiring manager, but with the HR team and the Director of the area. Finally, I had to pass a pre-employment screening.
Would you want to share any tips or advice with student interested in applying to Richemont?
I think that the most important thing to have in mind is to transmit motivation and enthusiasm for the company, the job and the industry. I recommend being natural and relaxed, and showing all the strongest skills you have with passion and security. Do not wait around for the perfect job to come to you; you need to be proactive and approach the company of your dreams.
